On this page you will find examples of my design work spanning from trend analysis, to CAD development, finalized garments, university projects, independent works and notable experiences from my time as an Apparel Design and Manufacturing Student at Texas Tech University.
In September of 2022, I presented my Debut Collection of 8 looks at NYFW representing my independent label Lillian Jenae Designs LLC. This experience challenged my creativity, and product development skills while creating a Ready-to-Wear collection. In addition this collection was also showcased at Austin Fashion Week in November, 2022.

Apparel design portfolio, current project in progress, featuring developmental work towards my senior thesis collection to be completed in the Spring 2024. Project portfolio features examples of; trend analysis, mood board, original print design, textile selection, color story, rendered illustrations, technical flats and coordinating line sheets.
Independent mentorship project with objective to develop proficiency in CLO 3D software and enhance textile knowledge. Project entitled "The Underpainting" is a 3D collection crafted for entry to the Cotton Works Cotton Forward 20204 Fashion Design Challenge. Created during final semester to showcase product development, digital applications, and print design capabilities.
Senior Portfolio Development | Collection 01
Apparel design portfolio, featuring developmental work towards my senior thesis collection to be completed in the Spring 2024. Project portfolio features examples of; trend analysis, mood board, original print design, textile selection, color story, rendered illustrations, technical flats and coordinating line sheets.
Notable project completed in Computer Applications in Apparel Design, students were tasked with creating a four look collection consisting of four fully rendered illustrations (rendered in Procreate) and coordinating flats created in Adobe Illustrator, utilizing skills learned in Computer Applications in Apparel Design, coursework completed in Fall 2022.
Apparel product and digital entries submitted to the 56th annual Fashion Group International Dallas Scholarship competition in April, 2024. For this competition I submitted 3 ensembles for consideration to FGI as well as a Digital Fashion Portfolio Submission. These garments and portfolio are apart of my senior capstone collection entitled Clementine, a feminine streetwear collection inspired by a capsule wardrobe without sacrificing a sense of whimsy and vibrancy. Resort Entry placed 2nd in its respective category in this regional competition.
In October of 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to present a Bridal-Mini Collection at Texas Fashion Week in San Antonio, Texas, As a part of their College Night Showcase representing my independent label Lillian Jenae Designs LLC. This experience allowed me to utilize my growing skillset, and once again experience the show production process first hand.

Apparel Product Development coursework: representing interpretation of current and upcoming bridal trends. This design is an elegant four piece contemporary bridal ensemble blending well loved and contemporary elements. This design received third place in the 55th annual FGI Dallas Scholarship competition in April, 2023.
Project with emphasis on the developmental stages of creating a collection. "Refraction" is intended to showcase skillset using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Lightroom to execute, trend forecasting, textile planning and print development as learned in my Digital Design coursework during the Spring of 2023.
Assignment tasked with leveraging generative AI to create print designs suitable for apparel product. In this project I was tasked with utilizing Adobe Firefly to develop print designs in various categories; vintage, textural, graphic, abstract, floral, and geometric. I then implemented these designs into rendered flats.
Original entry created for a national competition hosted by American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists, Spring 2024. Project focuses on various approaches to sustainability, versatility and marketability while maintaining a forward-thinking perspective on vibrant resort wear. Sketches created in Procreate and coordinating flats and print designs created using Adobe Illustrator.
AATCC C2C Design Competition Entry 2023 "Wilt"
Original entry created for a national competition hosted by American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists, Spring 2023. Project focuses on various approaches to sustainability, modularity and marketability while maintaining a forward-thinking perspective. Sketches created in Procreate and coordinating flats created using Adobe Illustrator.
Assignment presented with developing my skillset to integrate Generative AI usage into Apparel Design. With AI quickly gaining prominence, in this assignment, in the Spring of 2024, I was tasked with utilizing Adobe Firefly (Generative AI) to develop an apparel collection; cover page, logo design, mood board, color palette and fashion illustration. This project has enhanced my knowledge surrounding generative AI, importance of adapting my written communication to achieve wanted outcomes and the importance of appropriately utilizing AI application to my chosen field while maintaining an original and innovative design view.
This garment is an avant-garde homage to the Ukrainian people, their roots, loyalty to each other and their homeland. Apparel Product Development project, addressing a global issue "War In Ukraine." Garment was created for consideration to ITAA Conference 2023.
Trend analysis project completed in Spring 2021. In this report I analyzed consumer trends and worked to learn about the beginning steps of trend forecasting, seeking inspiration in unconventional materials, and fashion illustration. This trend which is entitled "Highly Caffeinated," focuses on transitional pieces easily styles as going out or loungewear pieces.
Design through draping course final, we were tasked with merging the aesthetics of two different, well known, designers into a casual day dress.
For this project I selected Miuccia Prada and Emilio Pucci. This project represents the "Collision of Design," and final project Fall 2021.
